Flag or Report an Agent

How to flag a review or report an agent.

When to report an agent vs. flag a single review

If your concern is about something a specific review says, start by flagging that review so our team can investigate it — not by reporting the agent overall. On the agent's profile, find the review and click the Report button, then include the reason and any supporting details.

Reporting an agent is for broader concerns about conduct that goes beyond one review — for example, a pattern of fake or coached reviews, or evidence that reviews were submitted from the agent's own devices or by people other than the client. Our Review Guidelines describe what we treat as a violation.

If you're not sure which applies, use the message form at the bottom of this page and share as much detail as you can — we'll route it to the right place.

What we investigate as a policy violation

When an agent is reported, our team reviews the complaint against our Review Guidelines. We do not publish the specifics of our investigation process.

If we determine a violation has occurred, the penalty includes:

  1. A warning displayed on the agent's profile, visible for two weeks per review found to be in violation.
  2. A $500 fine per violating review, paid to a charity we choose.
  3. Demotion to the bottom of the rankings.
  4. A probationary period — twice the length of the penalty period — before the agent can upgrade to a Pro membership.

What to include when you send a report

When you report an agent, include as much of the following as you have. The more specific your report, the faster we can investigate:

  1. The agent's full name and city.
  2. A link to the agent's profile.
  3. The specific reviews you believe are problematic.
  4. Any evidence — screenshots, emails, or context that shows the reviews aren't legitimate.

You can send all of this using the message form at the bottom of this page. We keep reports confidential and only contact you if we need additional information.
