Team Profiles, Reviews & Rankings

Team profiles on Rate-My-Agent, team reviews, team rankings.

How team profiles are structured

All licensed agents on a team must have their own individual profile listed under their designated team leader. The full team is displayed so buyers and sellers see a transparent, consistent picture.

The structure looks like this:

  1. The team leader has a profile, and the team itself shows aggregated reviews and ranking.
  2. Each team member has their own individual agent profile beneath the team.
  3. Reviews are tied to the individual agent who handled the transaction and also roll up into the team's totals and ranking.

When a team leader signs up, accounts are created automatically for all licensed team members.

One rating per client per transaction — the same limit as any individual agent profile. We monitor, audit, and remove ratings that violate the Review Guidelines.

Setting up a new team profile

Team profile setup is admin-handled. Email [email protected] with your team name, brokerage, and the licensed members you want included. When the team leader signs up, accounts are created automatically for all licensed team members.

If a team member is missing or doesn't yet have a profile, create their profile and reply to the same email thread so we can attach it under your team.

Team names and company names cannot be added to an individual agent's profile name — that field is reserved for the agent's registered legal or professional name. The team identity lives on the team profile itself.

How a team gets reviewed and rated

Each agent on a team collects their own ratings and reviews. Those individual reviews contribute to the team's overall reviews and ranking — a team's standing is the cumulative result of every team member's verified client feedback.

Can one client review multiple agents on the team for the same transaction? No. One rating per client per transaction, whether the team passed the file between two agents or three. The Review Guidelines cover this in full, and our system flags and removes ratings that try to circumvent the rule.

To see how a team is actually performing, look at the team's aggregated profile rather than any single member's individual page.

What happens when an agent leaves the team

When an agent leaves a team they keep the reviews they earned. The verified reviews for transactions they handled stay on their own profile, and the profile itself remains active under their name — only the team association is removed.

To request removal from a team, email [email protected] from the email address on file for that agent. The email match is how we confirm the request is coming from the agent before we make the change. If the agent no longer has access to that email, include the new email address and the original one in the request so we can verify identity another way.

From the date of removal forward, the departing agent's reviews stop counting toward the team's totals but continue to appear on their individual profile.

Which profile should my client's review go on? Mine or my team members?

The simplest way to think about it is whoever closed the transaction gets the review. If you personally handled a transaction from start to finish, the review belongs on your individual profile. If another licensed agent on your team handled the transaction, the review belongs on their individual profile.

Reviews on an individual agent profile must reflect the client's direct personal experience with the specific agent who handled their transaction. Reviews that reference another agent, a team name, or suggest the transaction was handled by someone other than the profile agent may be flagged and unconfirmed.

A review on my profile mentions another agent or my team name, what happens?

If a review on your individual profile references another agent by name, mentions your team name, or suggests the transaction was handled by someone other than you, it may be flagged as non-compliant and unconfirmed. This means it will be removed from public view but kept internally.

If the review belongs to another licensed agent on your team, it will be transferred to their individual profile. You and the reviewer will both be notified of any action taken.

To avoid this going forward, direct your review requests to the specific agent who personally handled each transaction so reviews land on the correct profile from the start.

How do I report a review attribution concern on another agent's profile?

If you believe a review on another agent's profile violates our attribution policy, use the Report button directly on the review. This sends the concern straight to our compliance team for investigation, and your report remains anonymous.

Once a report is received, our compliance team will investigate.
